    CounterPoint BootCamp 24-27 September

That right folks, the CounterPoint BootCamp is on the schedule so it’s time to get registered for this awesome event.  Some of you missed the BootCamp in April so don’t miss this final opportunity of 2009.

We men can be defined by many things...childhood experiences, parents, friends, family, religious tradition, hobbies, and career. Yet many of us fail to understand God’s view of our life. How does God see me?  What does God think of me?  Am I accepted by God just as I am?  This BootCamp launches men into a journey of discovery: seeking the true masculine heart, understanding the life of adventure and purpose, how to fight the battles, and how to find authentic spirituality in relationship with Jesus Christ.

CounterPoint BootCamp is built on the Truth found in Scripture and supported by themes found in the best-selling book, “Wild at Heart” by John Eldredge and from Men’s Fraternity (Robert Lewis).  Some sessions feature John Eldredge and the Ransomed Heart team via DVD presentation.  Event leaders include men from the St Louis area who experienced radical transformation after attending the “Wild at Heart” conferences in Colorado. These events were led by “Wild at Heart” author John Eldredge and the Ransomed Heart team.

In addition to the interactive sessions, men can test their mettle on a ropes course, vanquish foes in paintball, catch a trout, hike the Ozarks, do some caving, or simply relax at the water park.   During the weekend, time is set aside for solitude: to discover your conversation with God, to receive healing in the deepest recesses of your heart, and to grow in understanding of your calling and purpose in Christ.

The best deal is to bring four of your friends with you and get the Group Rate of $209 per man.  Individual registration can be had for $229 each with early registration expiring midnight, Sunday, 30Aug09.

CounterPoint—setting men in contrast to the things that have shaped their lives.
